The history of viscose.

Вискозное волокно является одним из первых искусственных волокон, нашедших практическое применение. Получено оно было в 1884 графом Шардоннэ. В 1889 изобретение уже было представлено на международной выставке в Париже. Массовый же выпуск вискозы начался после патента английских химиков Кросса, Бевина и Бидла в 1892. Недорогой в производстве и легкий в окрашивании, этот материал стал неплохой альтернативой шёлку, бархату, крепу и льну. В 1920-е производители используют вискозное волокно для массового изготовления недорогих платьев, подкладок, нижнего белья. Технический прогресс помог избавиться от блеска волокна, что в свою очередь позволило его использование в вязаных изделиях. Вискозу применяют и сейчас, но кроме текстиля из нее делают мочалки и целлофан. La rayonne est l'une des premières soies artificielles qui a été mise en œuvre. Obtenue par le comte de Chardonnet en 1884 et elle a été présentée à l’exposition universelle de Paris en 1889. La production en masse de la viscose a commencé après le brevet des chimistes anglais Cross, Bevan et Beadle en 1892. Peu coûteux à fabriquer et facile à teindre, ce tissu est devenu une alternative à la soie, au velours, au crêpe et au lin. Dans les années 1920 les fabricants utilisèrent la rayonne pour la production des robes bon marchées, des doublures, des sous-vêtements. Le progrès technique élimina son brillant superficiel, ce que à son tour permit de l’employer pour les étoffes tricotées. On utilise la viscose même maintenant pas seulement dans le textile mais aussi pour faire des filasses et du cellophane. The rayon is the first artificial silk which had a practical application. Obtained by Hilaire de Chardonnet in 1884 it was shown in Paris exhibition in 1889. A mass production of the viscose started only after the patent of three English chemists Cross, Bevan and Beadle in 1892. Inexpensive for production and easy to dye this fabric became an alternative for silk, velvet, crepe and linen. In the 1920th manufacturers use the rayon to produce cheap dresses, linings, underwear. The technological progress helped to take away the fiber's brightness in its turn it allowed to use the rayon in knitted fabrics. We now use the viscose not only in textile but also to make sponges and cellophane.
