Первое подобие галстука
появилось во времена античности. Солдаты были обязаны завязывать на узел ткань
вокруг шеи. Делалось это то ли из-за гигиенических, то ли из-за климатических
соображений. Но этот платок-галстук вскоре исчез, и носить его стали снова
только через 15 веков! Слово «галстук» возникло лишь в 1650-е. С этого же
момента галстук начнет быстро распространяться и всячески изменяться.
Le premier prototype de cravate apparut dans l’Antiquité. Les soldats étaient obligé de nouer des tissus autour de leur cou. Cela se faisait pour des raisons hygiénique ou climatique. Mais bientôt ce foulard-cravate disparut et il va revenir 15 siècles plus tard. Le mot « cravate » prit sa naissance que dans les années 1650. Depuis ce moment-là le cravate va très rapidement se diffuser et évoluer.

But soon this headscarf-tie disappeared and came back 15 centuries later. The word “tie” first came into being only in 1650s. From this moment the tie started quickly to spread and to change.
